AWS Solutions Architect
Design scalable, cost-effective AWS architectures and prepare for the AWS Solutions Architect Associate and Professional certification exams.
AWS Solutions Architect is a comprehensive 52-hour program for designing scalable, resilient, and cost-effective architectures on Amazon Web Services — and for passing the Solutions Architect Associate and Professional exams with real understanding behind the certificate.
Who this course is for
It is built for engineers and architects who want both the AWS certification and the practical judgment to back it up. Familiarity with basic cloud concepts is recommended; the course develops everything else.
What you will be able to do
You will work across compute, storage, networking, databases, and security, learning the trade-offs that separate a working design from an excellent one. You will design for high availability and disaster recovery, secure workloads with IAM and encryption, and optimise architectures for both performance and cost. The Well-Architected Framework runs throughout as a decision-making lens.
How it is taught
Every domain includes hands-on labs on live AWS accounts, balancing exam readiness with genuine architecture practice. The program closes with a capstone design challenge in which you produce a production-grade architecture and defend your decisions.
You leave ready to sit the AWS exams and, more importantly, to design real systems that hold up in production.

Security & identity
IAM, encryption, and the AWS shared-responsibility model in practice.
Cost optimisation
Designing for performance and price; right-sizing and purchasing models.
Well-Architected Framework
Applying the five pillars to real designs.
Architecture capstone
Design a production-grade architecture and defend your decisions.
Frequently asked questions
Which AWS certifications does this prepare me for?
Both the Solutions Architect Associate and the Professional exams. The course covers the breadth of the Associate and the depth the Professional demands.
Do I need an AWS account?
We use live AWS accounts in the labs and provide guidance on staying within free-tier limits where possible. You will leave knowing how to manage cost as part of architecture.
